Shoe Superstitions

Shoes are one of the most popular magickal item in your bedroom. Written accounts of their use in procuring good luck and in dream divination go back to ancient history.

To dream of a future lover, balance your shoes in the form of a T on your windowsill before going to bed.

To dream of an occupational direction you should take, place your workshoes under the foot of your bed before going to sleep.

For good luck, spit in your right shoe before putting it on.

For safe travel at night, place a silver coin in your left shoe.

To attract love, place two red rose petals in your right shoe and three red rose petals in your left shoe.

To see a ghost, toss your best pair of shoes over your head and out your bedroom door at midnight. Slowly turn your head and look out your bedroom door to see the shadowy figure.

And, finally, before you go out to seek your fortune (find a job), sprinkle a bit of dried mint in each shoe.
