Holey Socks, Witchgirl!

Mention socks and the first image that comes to mind is a dirty, smelly sock with a hole in it.
Socks are stinky and, if you would see a pair of my son's socks after a long day of play, you would agree that socks can be downright revolting.
This is why the sock drawer is so perfect for spells involving protection and repulsion.
To Get Rid of an Unwanted Admirer
Items needed: One odd sock that has no matching partner, black pen, and a slip of paper.
Moon phase: Can be done whenever it is necessary.
Purpose: To turn someone's affections away from you.
Action: On the slip of paper, write the unwanted admirer's name in black ink. Take an odd sock, one that has no matching partner, and put the slip of paper inside the sock. Knot the sock closed.
Place this odd sock in your drawer and say:
"Not a match
To be found.
Realize this
And leave my grounds."
After the unwanted admirer has turned his attention elsewhere, dispose of the odd sock.
Give Flight to the Evil Eye
While the superstitions of the evil eye have died down in our times, the effects of receiving the evil eye still exist.
The evil eye is simply someone who looks at you with evil intentions or bad thoughts on his or her mind. When this happens, it is believed that those intentions or thoughts have a negative effect upon you.

To counteract the effects of the evil eye, draw the symbol below onto a piece of paper and place it in the bottom of your sock drawer.
Pictures
Those people that trouble you can be gently deterred by placing their picture into your sock drawer. This works best for bullies, pests, and nosey acquaintances.
Once the person has begun to leave you alone, his or her picture can be removed from your sock drawer.
