Easy Finger Puppets from Scrap Felt
Needed:
Scrap bits of felt
Glue
Needle and thread
Instructions:
1. For the body, cut out two rectangles using the pattern above from the same colored felt.
2. For eyes, hair, and mouth, cut out of tiny scraps of felt using freehand. It does not matter if one eyes is a smidge bigger than the other or that the mouth is not perfect. Kids just don't care about those things, at least mine don't.
3. To make sewing easier, first glue all the items into place. The hair will be glued onto the inside of the back piece of rectangle. The eyes and mouth will be glued to the front of the top piece of rectangle as shown.
4. With thread and needle, sew on the eyes and mouth after the glue has dried to give them extra durability.
5. Line up the two rectangles and sew the three edges as shown on the pattern image.
